If you’re offering a free MemberPress membership along with MemberPress membership levels that have recurring billing cycles, here are the steps on how to properly set Gravity Press 3.x for that.
Granted that you have bulk added both your free and recurring membership levels in one Product field, do the following steps:
- Create two Gravity Press feeds.
- The first Gravity Press feed will be a feed for the MemberPress level with recurring subscription. It should have a conditional logic that says to “Process the feed if product field (membership type) is not free (name of your free membership).”
- The second Gravity Press, which would be for the free membership, should have a conditional logic that says “Process the feed if product field (membership type) is free (or name of your free membership level.) It should also be set up according to this documentation. Specifically, you need to make sure that you have checked the box for Enable Offline Payment. Along with this, you need to add an offline payment method under your MemberPress payment settings.
- Finally, there should only be one payment feed and that payment feed should have the condition to “Process the feed if product field is not free“.
